...but in some posts that comes out more than others.   This is one of them...

I have known and loved this family for many years and our lives have intertwined in so many ways. Paula taught my daughter piano at her cute little studio in Cordova Bay and we soon became fast friends.  How can you not love her?  Our girls were also friends in middle school and Paul and I had parallel careers (in our previous lives!).  I knew they were a very close and very fun loving family.  I had no doubt our photography session would be both fun and very beautiful. 

When Paula and I talked about where we would take the photos she wanted the beach close to their home.  Not only is Cordova Bay Beach their community beach, it is where they spent many, many hours playing with the kids - it was the place where Paul and Paula met 35 years ago! Paula worked at the old Fable Cottage and Paul came in for a tour and asked her to ride off with him on his motorcycle!  She declined (she was 16!) but he was smitten and never gave up... the rest is history.  

Thanks for allowing me to share my love for this family through my photography.  Paula tells me she is so thankful but I am the one who was so blessed to spend an evening with them and call them my friends.
