What is the difference between a Headshot and Personal Branding?

A headshot is a single professional image usually photographed from the waist up - most often cropped to isolate your head and shoulders.  It shows one strong facial image and works brilliantly for LinkedIn, website biography pages and email signatures. 

Personal Branding tells so much more of who you are and what your vision is through photography. Most branding photography sessions last 2-3 hours and include working with props, your colours, unique locations all while making your story come to life captured through my lens.  Hair and make up services are also available. 

Your branding session will include a lifestyle head shot, styled images including your tools of the trade (or creative props) while capturing your authentic self.  My clients have shared with me their appreciation for the people skills I bring to any assignment.

I help people relax in front of my camera– the most common thing I hear at the end of a shoot is a surprised, enthusiastic “that was fun!”
